As most of you know, this is the current rig from Yaesu attempting to take back all the attention that the IC-7300 has gained. Compared to the Yaesu 991A, the only thing missing is 2/70. But as far as I am concerned, it is far easier to operate than the 991A but it is not without problems.

When connected via CAT to a computer, the meter display thereafter will not cycle through its different functions without a factory reset. Another problem is the microphone connector to the rig is always prone to distortion and other noise if there is even the slightest cable movement. That was solved by purchasing an M-90 desk mic.
