The DMR is up and working on both the network and on analog. Hopefully better than before. On Saturday arvo I replaced almost everything at VK2RBT: the repeater, the diplexer, all the patch cables and connectors, (reducing all the adaptors involved down to one) the antenna and the connectors on either end of the coax; everything except the coax itself. On analog, it appeared to be holding out until the next day when the repeater went into spasms and I had to head back over there and pull the plug. Knowing I was heading back to Sydney that day, I couldn’t risk this happening again and reinstated the Hytera. The Motorola was not playing nice on the network and it could have been me trying to reload codeplugs remotely that stopped the whole show in its tracks. Reviewing the following video afterwards, it sounds like the repeater got stuck on the ident but we may never really know.
