The Wyangala Amateur and Citizens Radio Society (WACRS) is a vague, hazy (possibly concussed) group of radio nerds that inhabit or make regular incursions into the central tablelands and south-west slopes of NSW’s Great Dividing Range.
WACRS have been irresponsible for the installation of a few repeaters including an amateur radio repeater which although somewhat nomadic and serviced whenever we have the spare time, would not be possible without the co-operation of local land owners.
We have been fairly active since 2012 in scoping out sites, planting repeaters in the dirt and causing mayhem.
