- The first thing to do is install the new CPS and then back up the codeplug of the radio with the NEW cps, not the old one. If loading up a new rig, it’s important that the firmware is updated to match the version of the CPS being used.
- Bluetooth firmware is updated using Android which can also be used to load codeplugs. I am still looking for everything required in the firmware archives but at least the main Android app is there called OTA_New tool_V3.0.apk. The app is not downloaded through an official store. It has to be done as an unknown source.
